What has caused more long term destruction -the Atom-bomb or U. S. Government welfare programs created to buy the votes of those who want something for nothing? Here’s the reality, you be the judge. By the way, don’t let the fact that the welfare state has produced 70% of all black children are now born out of wedlock and 60% grow up without a father. Also don’t let the fact that these fatherless children are at a dramatically greater risk of drug and alcohol abuse, mental illness, suicide, poor educational performance, teen pregnancy. And that their prison rate has increased almost 10 times since welfare was started! And that Detroit has the lowest HS graduation rate in the country at 21.7%. Oh yea, one more thing; don’t forget it has been very successful in accomplishing it’s original underlying goal; welfare programs were created to buy the votes of those who want something for nothing. It all paid off in 2008 with the election of an inexperienced, unqualified, socialist for President:
