– The Bottom Line –
You would have to go back to James Madison and the authors of The Federalist Papers to find anyone as studied and informed as is Newt Gingrich.
According to historian Richard B. Morris, they (The Federalist Papers) are an "incomparable exposition of the Constitution, a classic in political science unsurpassed in both breadth and depth by the product of any later American writer."
In other words James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and John Jay knew what the hell they were talking about. You can bet they didn't just hire some consultants and speech writers and the present their work from the teleprompters.
And so it is with Speaker Gingrich. It's easy to see why he dominates any political debate. Not only does he have the breadth of experience that no one else can even come close to, but he has dedicated the years following his time in Congress to the study of American history, American problems and American solutions. He has produced an unmatched amount of books, DVDs, research and white papers that address and offer studied solutions to America's greatest political issues. This intense dedication illustrates, like no other has since The Founding Fathers, how a serious leader approaches 'the great experiment.'
The 21st century Contract with America is an amazing work by any standards. So much research, time and discussion has been invested in producing this organized compilation of all of the very serious challenges that America faces today. Take some time and look it over. Just a quick review reveals an inarguable conclusion; Newt Gingrich is without equal and is by far the best man to be President of The United States.
In comparison to Romney, Obama and even most of our past presidents, Newt Gingrich is overqualified. Indeed he is the polar opposite of Obama, the least qualified person ever even to run for the Presidency. But this is the age of the American Idol electorate so unfortunately all of this man's unequaled credentials play a secondary role to good looks, gift of gab and charisma.
