The Grim Reaper or as I prefer to call him; The Only Enemy (here). We all know the nickname given to death. Also most of us have seen the depiction of death as a sort of a black cloaked 'man' holding a long sharp sickle. This is surely the most recognizable illustration or depiction of death in the form of a Grim Reaper. But the depiction of death dressed in a black cloak is what is so 'fascinating.'
Death is often given the name Grim Reaper and, from the 15th century onwards, came to be shown as a skeletal figure carrying a large scythe and clothed in a black cloak with a hood. It is also given the name of the Angel of Death or Devil of Death or the angel of dark and light (Malach HaMavet) stemming from the Bible.
Now take a look at the picture. See something that seems very familiar? Now check out this picture of the Muslim crescent symbol on the top of a mosque:
OK, the Muslim crescent looking like an elongated sickle is a bit of a 'stretch' BUT there is no stretch in saying that the black cloak and the burqa are just about identicle:
Starting to get a little eery and too ironic especially when you consider that Islam is mostly known for death, destruction and genocide. Can you name any great humanitarian Muslims? How about any Muslim inventors or Nobel Prize winners. You can count them on one hand yet over Islam's 1400 year history, there are an estimated 270 MILLION people HERE & HERE that have been killed by the followers of Islam.
Is the devil himself playing a sick joke on us by camouflaging Islam with a cloak of religion and a 'religious' garment that just happens to resemble the symbol we use for death?
