– The Bottom Line –
We all cheered at the end of The Sting and how they so brilliantly conned ‘the bad guy.’
Well our heroes in that movie were unfortunately ‘boy scouts’ when it comes to the greatest con man in American if not world history; Barack Hussein Obama.
But this is not about the obvious story of Barack Obama and all the evidence that supports the simple conclusion. When history writes about Barack Obama and the greatest con ever perpetrated on the American people, it hopefully will focus not on Obama, but on how the American electorate was so easily deceived by such an empty suit. By someone with no experience, no track record, no achievements and a list of associates that would bar most from qualifying for the local police force. Not to mention a man who was born a Muslim and educated at the same type of schools, ‘Madrassas’, that are used to indoctrinate the Islamists who grow up to be the enemy of America and indeed civilization. The list of course goes.
But it begs the question; How were so many Americans so easily conned by such a man? A man so anti-American that even his name gave it away… A man so void of experience and qualifications that a serious person had to wonder how he became even a candidate for any public office. There is truth unfortunately to what H. L Menken (b. 1880) once said;
“No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.“
Constitutionally speaking, we presently can have no test to qualify voters, but I don’t think the founders ever envisioned this level of ignorance, stupidity, and apathy.
“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.” – Thomas Jefferson to C. Yancey, 1816.
Taking the ‘electorate is stupid’ road is an easy one but it avoids the real problem; WHY and HOW did the electorate get so ignorant, stupid, and apathetic ? The answer can be summed up in one word – Propaganda.
“Lazy minds are the fertile fields of propaganda”
Yes once again; ‘It’s human nature stupid.’ Simply put; we are spoiled and of course included in the ‘we’ is our minds; we have been blessed with so many modern conveniences which have made life for most Americans so much easier that we naturally become ‘lazy minded’ when it comes to dedicating serious time to serious issues.
So instead of taking the time to research and investigate our candidates, we simply take their ‘talking points’ and their lies and accept them. We watch on TV someone tell us about what ‘they’ perceive instead of us taking a few minutes and finding the real truth. And with the genius of Google and the internet, it would take mere minutes for us to discover the historical realities that indeed remain the best ‘porthole’ in which to view the consequences of political decisions and agendas.
And so along comes election day and we are left with an electorate of an inordinate number of ‘useful idiots’; and the problem is growing and can indeed be deadly to the Republic.
This lethal voting dilemma is summed up best by none other than the Czech Republic newspaper, Prager Zeitungon:
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.”
History will record Barack Obama as the most successful con man ever. Let’s pray that it also records how it was a wake up call to America and it’s electorate and that they never let it happen again.
