– The Bottom Line –
This is so unbelievable that Rod Serling would have a hard time getting his hands around this concept! Let’s make this analogy as simple as possible. Imagine that you are going bankrupt and it’s only a matter of months before you lose everything. Your wife and kids are about to be without a home or a meal because, against all common sense, logic, economic realities and of course your wife’s advice; you have been spending so much more than you are earning and the ‘bubble is about to burst’! It means you and your family will be without a home or a livelihood in order to sustain even a minimum lifestyle. So what do you do? You keep spending even more knowing full well that it will speed up your economic disaster! Your wife and kids are pleading with you but you are in denial and refuse to change your ways. Now buried in your back yard is your inheritance that you and your wife buried there ‘for a rainy day’ when you moved into your house. It has more cash in it than you need to pay off all your bills, including all your credit cards and your mortgage! Also it has so much extra that you will be able to open a business that is guaranteed to employ all your family, friends and everyone else you so choose to help. ????? ??? ??????? ?????? Not to mention you will be solvent again and not have to worry about your family’s security, well being and of course where the next meal is coming from. To most people with any semblance of thinking capabilities, there is no decision about what you need to do. ???? ??? ??? ???? You have been blessed with this treasure in your back yard. It’s that ‘rainy day’ and it’s time to dig it up. Of course even though the United States has that treasure in the form of oil buried in its ‘back yard’ it refuses to use it. So we ask; What The Hell Is Going On Here? It’s not the EPA, even though this well intentioned ideological disaster has since its inception been at the forefront of the destruction of capitalism. It’s not a living thinking body or robotic system in and of itself. The EPA is run by the politicians. It’s surely not just stupidity or ignorance of economic realities; we’re talking about Economics 101 and any high school graduate understands it. So the only answers that could explain the absurdity and destructiveness of the present day policies are: 1. the people running this country have no ‘semblance of thinking capabilities’ or 2. they don’t give a damn about the country or it’s future, only themselves or 3. they are purposely trying to destroy this country by bankrupting it and thus making it ‘ripe’ for a their new government to replace the Republic. The only one I would eliminate is number 1. They know exactly what they are doing and numbers 2 and 3 spell out why. Here’s the facts and some reality as contributed by Craige A. McMillan over at WND

American oil: The path toward prosperity – Part 1
Exclusive: Craige McMillan lays out scenario that could spur massive economic boom
Let’s try a little thought experiment. Let’s imagine that America has oil reserves greater than Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, let’s imagine that to extract and transport that oil would employ tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of hard-working Americans. And let’s imagine that many of these workers had specialized skills – not “higher education” – and commanded paychecks in excess of $100,000 per year.
Finally, let’s imagine that the oil that is extracted and sold is limited to the American market – and sold at a 20 percent discount to the world price.

American oil: The path toward prosperity – Part 2
Last week I asked readers to try a little thought experiment and “imagine that America has oil reserves greater than Saudi Arabia.”
For some of readers, that was just too much. I was assured that America has reserves of 19.2 billion barrels, and even allowing for the additional 4 billion that I’d discovered in my link, it was only a nine-month supply for America.
I guess I forgot to mention the oil shale. The Bureau of Land Management has control of 70 percent of the oil shale lands in America. Here’s what they say about the reserves:
While oil shale is found in many places worldwide, by far the largest deposits in the world are found in the United States in the Green River Formation, which covers portions of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. Estimates of the oil resource in place within the Green River Formation range from 1. ???? ????? ?? ??????? 2 to 1.8 trillion barrels. Not all resources in place are recoverable; however, even a moderate estimate of 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil from oil shale in the Green River Formation is three times greater than the proven oil reserves of Saudi Arabia. Present U.S. demand for petroleum products is about 20 million barrels per day. If oil shale could be used to meet a quarter of that demand, the estimated 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil from the Green River Formation would last for more than 400 years.
More than 70% of the total oil shale acreage in the Green River Formation, including the richest and thickest oil shale deposits, is under federally owned and managed lands. Thus, the federal government directly controls access to the most commercially attractive portions of the oil shale resource base. … read more…
