– Al Qaeda Terrorists at Gitmo Treated Better than US Vets –

One can not just read this headline to get anywhere near the impact of it’s meaning. And any relative of any one lost on 9/11 or in Iraq and Afghanistan is most likely in tears just hearing it.

When a nation treats it’s enemies better than the very heroes that protect that nation, well you fill in the rest…

But I have to ask; does this really surprise anyone given that the leadership in place is predominately lawyers and that they rarely if ever have served in our military? In fact it is safe to say that most of these lawyer/politicians have even ever sacrificed their precious ‘billable hours’ for anything or anyone!

There’s no doubt that America is a dying nation. Culturally, economically and militarily this nation is being decimated by a ruling class that has no love for anything but themselves. More than 2,000 years ago, the great orator and statesman Marcus Tullius Cicero foretold the decline and fall of the Roman Empire with these words, which exquisitely described the ravages wrought by lying politicians with self serving egos:

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. Whether or not it’s too late to resuscitate this nation is yet to be determined. One thing is for sure. We do not have a prayer if the American voter doesn’t wake up and start to put real leaders in office.

Our nation’s courts and government agencies are confused and out of control. It’s no wonder they can tell the difference between the anatomy of males and females in the same-sex marriage debate.

Their priorities are misplaced with rulings on sex change operations and care for terrorists.

“A federal appeals court in Boston . . . upheld a judge’s ruling that a transsexual inmate convicted of murder is entitled to a taxpayer-funded sex change operation as treatment for her severe gender identity disorder.”

Here’s the most sickening display of misplaced priorities in light of the ever-growing VA scandal:

“In the wake of an ever-burgeoning “wait for them to die” scandal within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the heavy hitters in the Obama Administration have made their priorities known; specifically, while accusations swirl of purposeful lack of medical attention to vets have resulted in needless deaths, the head honcho himself for the Department of Defense (DoD) greased the skids for a convicted turncoat to receive a taxpayer subsidized sex change operation.

“As reported on May 14, 2014 by both the Toronto, Canada-based The Globe and Mail and also the USA TODAY news portal, convicted renegade soldier Bradley Manning could soon be transferred to a civilian hospital on the orders the Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, according to two Pentagon officials speaking on grounds of anonymity.” …

By now most American have heard about the VA’s infamous patient “secret wait lists” which reportedly contributed to the deaths of up to 40 veterans in the Phoenix area alone. Those patriots were American heroes who served our country proudly. Yet they were left to die waiting to see a doctor.
