Are Americans Stupid?

–  The Bottom Line  –

No – the question is stupid!   First, it implies all Americans.  And second, of course everyone is stupid in one way or another; bar none. (even me – hard to believe isn't it…)  The question should be 'What are Americans most stupid at?'   The answer: politics.

Before we go any further, the word 'stupid' must be addressed along with the word 'ignorant.' 

It is a valid argument to say that most Americans are ignorant when it comes to politics.  That is a given.  But why then would we say that most are stupid when it comes to politics? ??? ??? ?????   Check out definition of stupid above.  By casting their vote for someone or some policy without it based on sound facts and knowledge, this is the very height of being 'foolish' or 'senseless' because eventually their 'vanity' vote will come back to haunt them and/or their country. 

The most obvious illustration of American's political stupidity came on November 4, 2008.  To argue this conclusion one has to totally disregard the facts and the realities; both past and present.   But the election of Obama in 2008 could have been a 'fluke' or the proverbial 'exception to the rule' but for the 2012 election.  The re-election of the worst qualified person in Presidential history along with his four year record of failures as the sitting President, left no 'question. ????? ??? ??????? ?????? '

Indeed Americans are politically stupid, that is generally speaking.  After all the majority, as slim as the margin was, voted for Obama (?).  But the problem is not that this these people are stupid, it is what they are stupid in politics. ???? ??????? ?????   And this political stupidity is not because of a lack of intelligence, but because of a lack of concern.  Basically, most Americans are mentally lazy [not interested] in researching and/or finding out the facts about the issues or the candidates.  Their vote is based on information acquired from a biased and 'cookie cutter' media along with their own 'vanity' bias, with little concern with what is actually good for the country.

And finally so as to leave no doubt about the overall political stupidity of Americans, they continue to vote into office lawyers who over the last few decades have demonstrated their total ineptitude and inexperience when it comes to running America.

You can call them anything you like. Call them Republicans, Democrats, Progressives, Independents, Politicians, Judges, Congressman, Senators, Legislators, Public Servants, etc. But the one fact and common denominator remains; they are all (with few exceptions)
LAWYERS!
Anyway you do the math. America is now ruled 100% by LAWYERS!
