Judy Garland was born Frances Ethel Gumm in Grand Rapids, Michigan 90 years ago today, June 10, 1922. For the last 70 plus years she has stood alone as one of, if not the greatest female singer ever. Personally, I would argue that there is not even a close 2nd.
Like Elvis, she died of an accidental drug overdose. Elvis was 42, Judy was 47. ???? 21 Indeed 'the good die young. ???? ????? ' But of course we are blessed with the technology that preserves her gift and generations will be able to witness the God given talent of a very special American.
