It really doesn't get more American than Ronald Reagan. And one of the main reasons was because of his Christian beliefs.
Does anyone ever notice that in a review of our greatest Presidents those who make the grade all held deep Christian beliefs and were not afraid to wear them on their sleeves?
Here's a notion that you will not here anywhere else; Being a Christian is not about religion! Of course it doesn't mean not being about religion either.
There are two groups of people in the world. Those who believe in the philosophy of Jesus Christ and those who don't. These two groups are also known as 'the Good Guys and 'The Bad Guys.' Whether you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God is a very personal matter and really has nothing to do with your neighbor or your country. ?????? ???? ???????? Whether or not you believe in the philosophy of Jesus Christ has everything to do with your neighbor and your country.
America was built on Christianity, both the religion and the philosophy. We became the greatest nation in history because of this Christian foundation summarized in The Golden Rule: "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You. ?????? ??????? " That is why America is the most generous nation. That is why America is the first to go to aid disasters all around the world. That is why America sends its young men and women into battle against evil around the globe to free the oppressed. That is why America is the first nation to win a war and instead of taking the 'spoils' it aids and rebuilds its' defeated enemy so their people can live with the hope and the dreams that represent the very lifeblood of the human existence.

And so America can not be America without leaders that have a strong Christian belief. Which brings us to one of our greatest Presidents Ronald Reagan. Perhaps no President was better at applying his Christianity into the national conscience. It never sounded like preaching, it just sounded like he was explaining a way of life that American or not, Christian or not, all descent people could identify with. ?????? ???????
