–  The Bottom Line  –

Less than one week ago I weighed 315+ pounds.  Today I am 299 pounds.  I am not surprised because I have been here before.  I once fasted for 5 days, water only, and at the end of the 5 days, I not only had lost a lot of weight, (I forget how much) but I do remember that I had to force myself to eat again AND I never felt better mentally or physically in my life!

Of course it sounds like bullcrap but as always TBL Guy has to tell it like it is and so here it is:

FASTING IS THE BEST WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT, GAIN HEALTH & EXTEND YOUR LIFE

In researching about this I came upon a few very interesting theories that make total sense yet fly in the face of conventional 'wisdom.'

– Fasting is the world's most ancient and natural healing mechanism –
– Food and more particularly, heavy meals, require most of the nerve energy of the body to handle digestion.  Thus the mind becomes enervated (without vigor, force, or strength) making most people dull, sleepy and leaving their precious nerve energy at it's lowest ebb. –

Before we look at how to fast, let's examine the question: "Why fasting?" Although hundreds of fasting centers and clinics have existed in most European countries throughout the 20th century, Americans are still very far behind the learning curve regarding scientific, therapeutic fasting, as well as in adopting natural and organic food diets.
